After getting compliments from my neighbors on the first wreath I ever made, my Simple Thankful Wreath, I thought I’d give it a try for Christmas as well. I was inspired by the Pear Ornament made by a pumpkin & a princess and tweaked it to make it an easy burlap wreath.
The supplies for this wreath consist of:
- Straw wreath
- Bakers Twine
- Burlap Ribbon
- Floral Pins
- Dollar Store bells
- Pear Ornament inspiration by a pumpkin & a princess
- Tiger eye glitter
- Poinsettia Clip on flower
- Gold glitter ribbon
I love the way the pear turned out. The swirls of the glue created a textured look in the glitter and the color wasn’t too bold. The glitter catches the morning sunlight so well. It definitely puts me into the Christmas mood.
This was the first year I didn’t go with a traditional wreath on our front door and I’m glad I took the leap of faith. Do you usually go with a traditional wreath or do you like to take a leap too?
