Hey guys! We finally experienced a little bit of fall weather here in Mississippi this weekend! However, if you know the deep south at all, you know that the cool temperatures are not yet here to stay. It’s already back in the high 80’s this week!
BUT…the glimpse of cool weather did get me excited to shop for fall clothes again. And, it reminded me that my kids need some warmer clothing so they’ll be ready! It’s difficult for me to find the time to get out and shop, and as much as I would love to try my hand at one of the local consignment sales, it just never works out in my schedule. So, I took advantage of online shopping from the comfort of my own home and bought a few things from MoxieJean – a fabulous upscale resale site that focuses on baby and kid clothes! Have you heard of it?
This was my first time shopping online for consignment clothing, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Even after choosing the clothes, I was a little nervous about the condition of the pieces or that maybe they wouldn’t fit. Much to my delight, everything I ordered was perfect and the clothes were like brand new! The MoxieJean staff goes through every piece of clothing to ensure it is the best quality or else they won’t even sell it. So, I shouldn’t have even worried! Plus, if something didn’t fit, they have a 100% guarantee policy where I could’ve just emailed them and they would take care of it.
MoxieJean offers unique, stylist-created looks from favorite brands like Gymboree, Gap, Tea Collection, Hanna Andersson, Mini Boden, Baby Lulu and Ralph Lauren, plus designer brands like Oilily, Mayoral, DKNY, Burberry, and Juicy Couture, all at 75% or more off retail price. They add hundreds of new outfits every Monday and Thursday, so in my opinion, these are the best days to shop and find the brand you want.
I have been to a local consignment sale before, and it is totally overwhelming digging through the racks upon racks of clothing. I love that on MoxieJean’s site, I can just scroll with the ease of my mouse or finger! It’s super easy to order from the website by gender and by size and you can zoom in to get a closer look of each item. They even accept Paypal as a payment option!
Everything I bought this time was for Simon. My favorite is this Chicago Bears outfit since we’re finally back in the football season — we lived in the Chicago area for our first six years of marriage, so we’re Bears fans! Funny fact – MoxieJean is based in the Chicagoland and any clothes they do not sell, they donate to a local kids closet.
Isn’t he super cute in this?? This outfit was actually brand new with the tags on it still and is GREAT quality. I thought the price of $14.99 was just right!
Call me crazy, but I saw this Christmas outfit on the site and HAD to have it! I’m not the best at being ahead of the game when it comes to shopping for holiday clothes, but this time I’m prepared!
I love the little Santa on his bottom, too!! This outfit was just $4.99!
The shorts here are Baby Gap (ok, so this isn’t for cooler weather, but again, I had to have these!). They were just $4.99 and in fabulous condition. The jacket was $9.99, also in perfect condition.
